Sorcha Chrisholm is eine Australische Sängerin, Songwriterin und Musikerin. 2016 veröffentlichte sie ihr Album „Hymes for her“ das Stärke, Courage und weibliche Spiritualität thematisiert. Sorcha greift viele Stile wie Blues, Gospel und Folk auf und setzt dies mit Gitarre, Klavier und ihrem außergewöhnlicher Gesang um. Zur zeit lebt Sorcha in Tokyo, Japan, aber ihre familiären Wurzeln reichen bis in die Lausitz. Supported und Präsentiert wird Sorcha vom Akkordeon Salon Orchester.
English: Sorcha Chisholm is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician. In 2016 she released the full length album "Hymns for Her" which explores themes of strength, courage and female spirituality. Sorcha has adopted many musical styles on the album: blues, gospel, celtic, arabic and folk - all based around the piano and guitar and her distinctive vocals. Sorcha is currently living in Tokyo, Japan.
